How is translation different Voice-over and dubbing?

Translation in simple terms is the process of translating any given script or audio content in to the targeted language. Whereas the voice over and dubbing are the process of giving the voices or speaking the given script or narration according to the video content with appropriate timing. Translating would involve many aspects to be considered, like language accuracy, preciseness in translation and meaning. But in case of dubbing, the artists will speak in the targeted language, with selective words that suit with the lip movement of the actor on the screen. He must also concentrate on the meaning of the words spoken.
